DC² covered by Qooxdoo, closing this year

The end of the year is very close and I'm on holiday for the next three weeks now.
There was a lot of stress, but in the end, it was a successful year 2010.

I'm married to a wonderful woman, I have a wonderful son and I have a good job (and I have fcking incredible this fridge ;-))

So what else do I need?

Oh yes, a christmas present from our company, which we got already :)

[DC² - DataCenter Deployment Control] New Logo

I'm really blessed with people around me who know their job.

Yesterday I talked to our graphics designer and asked him if he would be so kind to create a professional logo for our DC² project. 

This morning I was more surprised to see a mail with proposal of a new logo.

The first impression was "Oh wow, this is fcking cool, I really like it". I showed it to my OPS comrades and they liked it, too.

On the second look, I saw much more answers in it.

The grey arc looks like a part of the time circle of a watch, the 2 is exactly in place, means on your watch it's 10 minutes past. Sureley that's the message of DC². 

Get your servers running in at least 10 minutes.

I'm happy that I was right to ask Alexander and to have really a high quality logo for the DC² project.

2010-12-06: A New Name

When everything works now on planet.ubuntu.com, you will see, that I changed my last name.

So, from now on, I'm named "Stephan Adig" and not "Stephan Hermann" anymore.

This was the second surprise :)
